We are receiving more and more requests from research workers who, for one reason or another, require HLA typing on samples from studies in disease association, drug discovery, or for the prognosis of outcomes from specific treatments.

We have recently refurbished our laboratories at Gateshead to create a meeting room and demonstration laboratory. Several workshops have already been held in the new facility. These include a Luminex instrument maintenance and troubleshooting course and hands-on demonstration of the new One Lambda HLA Fusion typing and antibody detection software.

We are pleased to announce that we are now offering an HLA, MICA and KIR Typing Serivce utilising the One Lambda LABType® typing kits. Just send us the DNA and we'll carry out the typing from low to medium resolution as required.

We are also offering an HLA and MICA antibody screening service. For this we would require a serum sample which we can test to various levels of sensitivity, from HLA and MICA antibody screening down to single antigen specificity.
