Cedarlane's anti-fish antibodies can be used to detect salmonid parasites indirectly by detecting the fish immunoglobulins. By using these antibodies, specific antibodies are not needed to identify infecting bacteria and viruses. Instead, the naturally occurring salmonid antibodies (present in increased numbers in infected fish) are used. These do not react with Zebrafish.
