The LABScreen® product line offers screening and specific antibody detection assays utilising the Luminex XMap® technology, which uses a panel of colour-coded microspheres coated with HLA antigens. The LABScreen® product line consists of

• LABScreen® Mixed - screening for HLA and MICA antibodies
• LABScreen® PRA - assign HLA antibody Percent Panel Reactive Antibody (PRA) and HLA antibody specificity
• LABScreen® Single Antigen - assists in the analysis of HLA antibodies and MICA antibody specificities, especially in high PRA sera.

A number of ancillary products are also available for the LABScreen® product line;

Adsorb Out™ consists of microparticles used for pre-incubation of serum to reduce or remove high background due to non-specific binding.

LABScreen® Negative Control serum is used to establish the background value for each batch of LABScreen® tests.

PE-conjugated goat anti-human IgG is the secondary conjugate for all the LABScreen® kits but is purchased separately.

Quantiplex™ Beads are reference beads for the standardisation of the fluorescent signal generated by the LABScreen® assays. Consisting of a set of Luminex® beads with graduated levels of fluorochrome similar to PE.
