The Fragment Analyzer™ is covered, in the first 12 months, by a Comprehensive System Warranty. After this time, we recommend the purchase of an annual maintenance contract. We offer the following contracts to meet your requirements:


Gold Maintenance Contract

Includes:

• Coverage for one year (LED, capillary array and computer not included).
• Unlimited telephone and email support for one instrument.
• Parts, labour and travel covered.

Platinum Maintenance Contract

Includes:

• Coverage for one year (LED, capillary array and computer not included).
• Unlimited telephone and email support for one instrument.
• Parts, labour and travel covered.
• One scheduled on-site preventative maintenance visit for system inspection and operational qualification.

Diamond Maintenance Contract

Includes:

• Coverage for one year (LED, capillary array and computer not included).
• Unlimited telephone and email support for one instrument.
• Parts, labour and travel covered.
• Two scheduled on-site preventative maintenance visits for system inspection and operational qualification.

Notes:

• System warranty does not cover consumables or limited life components (LEDs and capillary arrays). Please refer to the Comprehensive System Warranty for further details.
• On-site preventative maintenance visit must be scheduled at least one month in advance with a company representative. An on-site visit entails inspection and replacement (if necessary) of fluid pumping system components; cleaning of optics; inspection of x-y-z motion control and realignment if necessary; installation of new capillary array (if desired – new capillary array must be purchased separately and is NOT included in the maintenance package); verification of optical alignment; operational qualification of system.
• All shipping costs associated with warranty replaceable items included.
• Travel costs included.
• VAT will be levied at the appropriate rate at the time of invoicing.
• All agreements provide coverage for one-year term.

Refer to the Comprehensive System Warranty for details on warranty coverage and limitations. The obligation of VH Bio and Advanced Analytical under this agreement is contingent upon the proper use of the product(s) by the Customer. VH Bio and Advanced Analytical also shall be under no obligation to perform maintenance service under this Agreement if repairs are required as a result of (a) natural disaster, such as flood or earthquake; (b) strikes, riots, acts of war; (c) repairs or modifications made by anyone other than VH Bio and Advanced Analytical personnel without VH Bio and Advanced Analytical supervision or approval; and (d) unusual shock damage during transportation by the customer or any other improper use. Improper use includes, but is not limited to, line voltage outside specified limits and improperly grounded power receptacles. VH Bio, Advanced Analytical and their representatives reserve the right to determine if on-site travel is warranted depending upon the nature of the problem.
