PCR Master Mixes - Molzym
Description

MolTaq 16S is an outstanding Taq DNA polymerase which facilitates the reliable and sensitive detection of bacterial DNA targets in samples using PCR or Real-Time PCR. MolTaq 16S is free from amplifiable DNA (>220 bp) and has an extremely high activity. The enzyme is particularly useful for PCRs involving primers for conserved regions of the bacterial 16S or 23S rRNA gene. Mastermix 16S Basic includes all the basic components to run a PCR reaction with custom primers specific for bacterial or fungal sequences. This 2.5X concentrated mastermix contains an improved PCR buffer, dNTPs, BSA and MolTaq 16S DNA polymerase. Mastermix 16S Dye is a mastermix intended for the detection of bacterial or fungal DNA by fluorescent dye using custom primers. It includes PCR buffer, dNTPs, BSA, MolTaq 16S DNA polymerase and a set of reagents for the analysis of amplicons by agarose gel electrophoresis. The fluorescent dye included for DNA staining can also be used for Real-Time PCR. Mastermix 16S Primer includes primers which bind to conserved regions of the 16S rRNA gene of bacteria giving a 470 bp amplicon. The mastermix is particularly useful for the sensitive detection of bacteria using PCR followed by sequencing of the amplicon and strain identification by sequence library search (e.g. BLAST). Mastermix 16S Primer can also be used for Real-Time PCR employing fluorescent dye or probe detection. Mastermix 16S Complete is specially designed for the detection of bacteria using PCR. It includes primers which bind to conserved regions of the 16S rRNA gene of bacteria. This mastermix contains all the ingredients necessary to run the assay after adding the template. Mastermix 16S Complete is thus the best way to exclude reagent-borne DNA contamination while exhibiting an extreme detection sensitivity.
