| Elchrom offer a wide range of gels to meet specialist applications. These include: Clearose® RNA - Gels for RNA Analysis. Clearose® RNA gels can be used for separting m-RNA and total RNA between 500 nt - 10'000 nt, Northern blotting and analysis of RNA transcripts. GMA™ Gels - Gels for SSCP and Heteroduplex Analysis. Gene Mutation Analysis (GMA) gels are highly sensitive gels for SSCP and Heteroduplex analysis. Up to 50 samples can be run per gel. Short Fragment™ - hydrogels for high resolution analysis of short nucleic acids. Short fragment gels are for high resolution analysis of short nucleic acids fragments (ssDNA, dsDNA, labelled oligonucleotides and RNA) and can resolve a 1 nt difference in size in fragments below 50 nt. Bands are sharp and straight and resolution is size dependent when gels are run in a temperature controlled electrophoresis unit with buffer circulation. These gels are ideal for analysis of small DNA fragments from 20 bp to 100 bp, oligo checking (15-50nt) and siRNA analysis. Blot-EX - precast protein gels for highest protein recovery in Western blotting. These novel hydrogels can resolve proteins from 20 kDa to 200 kDa and are non-acrylamide based for easy and safe handling. |
