The GlobalStem team are highly experienced in culturing, testing, maintaining and preserving stem cell lines. All cell lines are prepared under aseptic conditions and each lot must pass a meticulous screening process for bacterial, fungal, mycoplasma and human pathogen contamination. Available Cell Lines include: Rat Neural Stem Cells from Sprague-Dawley E14 cortex. GlobalStem Rat CNS Stem Cells are multipotent and delivered at passage number zero (P0) in a quantity of about two million viable cells per vial. After plating, they are ready for expansion or differentiation into neurons, astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. They can be transfected, transplanted or differentiated into electrically active neurons. BG01V human embryonic stem (hES) cells are robust and easy to grow in cell culture and remain undifferentiated for about 25 passages, making them ideal for newcomers to the field. BG01V cells are derived from the wild-type BG01 hES cells These cells are trisomic for chromosomes 12 and 17 and are XXY. 2102Ep cells - a standardised external reference for flow cytometry characterisation of pluripotent cells. The cells are Paraformaldehyde-fixed, nullipotent human embryonal carcinoma cells. LB10 mESCs — derived from a C57BI/6 mouse and LC3 mESCs — derived from an F1 hybrid (C57BI/6 x 129) mouse. Both lines ubiquitously express green fluorescent protein (GFP) driven by a CMV enhancer-chicken β-actin promoter. |
