Describe what your job entails.
A wide variety! Everything that involves numbers, the office and our Quality System for ISO.
What is your career and/or education background?
After leaving Sixth Form with ‘A’ Levels I took up a role in a practice and worked towards my qualifications in accountancy. After 14 years in practice as an Auditor and Management Accountant, I took the leap over to VH Bio – and never looked back!!
What is your favourite part of the job?
Month-end – love it!!
In your opinion, what is the greatest advancement in the history of science?
Micky Faraday and his electricity! Where would we be without it…
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A binman!!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with family and friends, watching football and drinking beer! 😉
If you could be any animal, what you be and why?
I would be a Golden Eagle, so I could fly!
What was the first car you owned?
A Ford Fiesta
Describe your perfect weekend.
A nice long weekend over the Lake District in a log cabin with the family, enjoying good wine and food (and some good weather). P.S. It would have to have a hot tub as well!!
What annoys you?
Ignorant people, manners don’t cost a penny!!!
If you were king or queen for a day, what one law would you change or introduce?
Removal of the government
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Tricky one… probably a nice curry!!!

A boat

Hahaha – Lionel Richie, only about 6 years ago!
