The entire team at VH Bio would like to congratulate our Sales and Purchasing Manager, Pauline Soulsby, on her 20th anniversary of being with the company!
Since January 2002, Pauline has been an integral part of the VH Bio team. Her job involves a wide variety of responsibilities including processing all sales orders, managing and maintaining stock levels, and communicating with customers to help with special requirements or troubleshooting any issues.
“It gives me extreme pleasure to celebrate such incredible loyalty,” said VH Bio’s Managing Director, Alison Wortley. “Pauline Soulsby has worked for VH Bio Limited for 20 years this week; as Sales and Purchase Ledger Manager, her role is key to business continuity and customer satisfaction.”
Pauline said that VH Bio as a company has grown massively since she first started, and that she has enjoyed working with the team and all of our customers.
“Twenty years doesn’t sound much when you say it fast, and I think that’s how the last twenty years have passed – far too quickly,” said Pauline.
“When I started with VH Bio there were six people in the company, and all have now either left or retired. We occupied two small offices with a basement for a warehouse and we had to take turns going into ‘the pit’ as we called it. However, it has always been a great place to work and some of the friendships I have formed will last a lifetime.
“To say it has been enjoyable for me is an understatement; not only through my co-workers both past and present but also through our suppliers: One Lambda, Cedarlane, Asuragen, and Edge, for example, and not forgetting our wonderful customers, many of whom have become friends over the years.
“As the company has grown, I think I have grown with it and I would like to think that, going forward, I can continue in the same vein by offering the personal touch, consideration, and support to all of VH Bio’s suppliers and especially to our valued customers.
“Here’s to the next 20!”
Alison continued, “Over the years, Pauline has not only formed strong close relationships with her colleagues at VH Bio Limited but also with our wonderful customers. I’m certain that Pauline is a contributing factor to our customers’ loyalty and why VH Bio Limited is a great company to deal with. Her candidness and humour always brighten up our days and I am proud to have worked alongside her all these years.
