G-Mendeliome CES (Clinical Exome Sequencing) Panels provide a comprehensive genomic profiling of a variety of genetic diseases, reducing sequencing costs compared to WES through selecting genes that have been reported to be only clinically relevant.

The G-Mendeliome CES (Clinical Exome Sequencing) Panels are ready-to-use panels for Inherited Diseases which comprehensively analyse clinically significant genes within human whole exome regions.

Manufactured by Celemics, Inc., this Clinical Exome Panel is able to provide accurate analysis of known disease-related variants, reducing sequencing costs compared to WES (Whole Exome Sequencing) by targeting only the genes that are known to harbour mutations that contribute to the pathogenesis of disease.

The G-Mendeliome CES Panel has overcome the limitations of analysing clinical diseases with whole exome sequencing. By selectively targeting the clinically significant genes, the panel enables comprehensive analysis with the most effective sequencing throughput.

Key features

A wide range of highly comprehensive target regions

Most whole exome sequencing panels often cover less of the whole exome than required, with data indicating that 50 percent of exons have lower than 30x average coverage. Due to the low-coverage regions, WES can miss critically important variant regions. The G-Mendeliome Clinical Exome Panel includes all clinically significant regions that are not covered from competitor panels.

The G-Mendeliome CES Panel is bundled with a free-of-charge CAS Secondary Report and powerful, cost-effective Clinical Report, both optimised for your real-life clinical requirements. The panels are able to provide accurate analysis with reduced sequencing costs compared to Whole Exome Sequencing.

Variant calling and clinical interpretation still requires extensive expertise and time.
