The Ion Chef™ system compliments the Ion S5™ sequencing platform and helps reduce sources of variability, providing reproducible chip loading, and enabling sample tracking and system checks with the onboard tracking system. The hands-on time for preparing the Ion Chef instrument is 15 minutes and all the reagents are cartridge based.
