VH Bio has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification

VH Bio Ltd is proud to announce our successful transition to ISO 9001:2015 standard, highlighting our commitment to continually improve our products and services.

ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS) and is based on a number of principles including strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, a process approach and continual improvement. It helps businesses and organisations streamline their processes to be more efficient at what they do and demonstrates to customers that they can offer products and services of consistently good quality.

ISO standards are reviewed and revised regularly to make sure they remain relevant to the marketplace and this most recent ISO 9001 standard has been updated to take into account the different challenges that businesses now face.

ISO 9001:2015 positions the new version of the standard as an integral part of an organisation’s efforts towards sustainable development and promotes it as a tool for improving overall performance. It encourages more internal and external focus as part of the adoption of a risk-based approach to quality management and emphasises the importance of adopting a QMS as a strategic decision for an organisation.

We were audited by SGS who is the world leading inspection, verification and testing certification company. SGS awarded us with ISO 9001:2015 certification after we were able to demonstrate processes that bridged the gap between the new and old standard, whilst still maintaining our core business structure. Our certification is monitored throughout the year by a number of internal audits which are carried out by a 3rd party to ensure we keep to the highest possible standard.

VH Bio’s Managing Director, Alison Wortley comments that “transitioning to this new standard has been a real team effort by all personnel, it has taken a lot of dedication and work. The commitment we have to responsive service and support is paramount to the company, putting the customer first but also ensuring all employees work together for this common goal.”
