KIR SSO Genotyping

The KIR Genotyping Kit identifies the presence or absence of the following genes:
2DL1, 2DL2, 2DL3, 2DL4, 2DL5, 2DS1, 2DS2, 2DS3, 2DS4, 2DS5, 3DL1, 3DL2, 3DL3, 3DS1, 2DP1, 3DP1, as well as the common variants of 2DL5, 2DS4, and 3DP1.
Each tray contains 21 formulations of specific primer sets used to amplify genomic DNA. Four tests are contained on Each tray. Includes PCR Buffer and a negative contamination control.
Killer Cell Immunoglobulin-Like Receptors (KIR) play an important role in regulating Natural Killer (NK) cell activity. NK cells have been implicated in the promotion of engraftment and mediation of graft-versus-leukemia (GVL). These effects may be the result of donor-recipient HLA epitope mismatching for KIR.
