Qubit Fluorometers detect fluorescent dyes specifically bound to the target molecule.  

Qubit technology uses a fluorescent dye system to quantitate your molecule of interest (DNA, RNA or protein). Accurate quantitation of extracted DNA is crucial for the success of downstream applications; commonly next-generation sequencing.

With optimised Qubit Assays, Qubit Fluorometers can quickly distinguish dsDNA from ssDNA or intact from degraded RNA, even in extremely small amounts or in the presence of contaminants. Sample data on DNA and RNA quantification, RNA integrity and quality, and protein quantification demonstrate that data generated with Qubit Assays run on Qubit Fluorometers is accurate, precise, sensitive, and selective. A simple, intuitive interface and onboard calculators streamline the process. Results appear within seconds and can be exported to a computer or downstream device. 

Qubit quantitation offers:
