Cedarlane’s Mouse Glial Cell Lines are a collection of immortalised glial cells derived from multiple brain regions of adult CD-1 mice. Developed using proprietary platform technology, these cell lines provide a powerful and reproducible in vitro system for investigating central nervous system (CNS) function, neurodegeneration, and glial-specific pathways.

  • Source: Primary glial cultures isolated from the hypothalamus, cortex, and brainstem of adult CD-1 mice 
  • Immortalisation Method: Retroviral transfer of SV40 T-antigen 
  • Characterisation: Express a broad and expanding range of glial-specific markers, including GFAP
