Our 96-Well Capillary Plates reduce consumables cost when using a capillary sequencer. Our plates are compatible with the ABI Prism 3100, 3700, 3730, and 3730xl capillary sequencing platforms from Applied Biosystems. The raised rim around the perimeter of the plate allows for precise aligning of purification plates while the skirt allows robotic handling.
Our U-bottom and V-bottom 96-well plates have a total volume of 330µl and a recommended working volume of up to 75 to 200µl. They conform to standard microplate footprints and dimensions and are specially processed to retain precipitated DNA.
DNA that is precipitated at low speed (1500 x g) with the aid of Quick-Precip™ or Quick-Precip™ Plus Solution adheres aggressively to the bottom of these plates and will not be dislodged with normal washing and handling.
