What is your career and/or education background?
After leaving School/Sixth Form I took up a role in an Accountancy Practice and worked towards my qualifications in Accountancy. In 2016, After 14 years in practice as an Auditor and Management Accountant I took up a great opportunity to move to the industry sector with VH Bio, as their Finance Manager.
Describe what your job entails.
My role at VH Bio is very varied, every day is different!
Along with managing the office and our ISO Quality Systems, my main role is the financial management of the business. This entails overseeing the financial health and operations of the company, including financial reporting and budgets, financial analysis and problem solving, while also liaising with suppliers and customers. My aim is to optimise financial performance and support long-term success within VH Bio.
