What is your career and/or educational background?

I have an undergraduate degree in Writing Studies with a focus on Journalism and a Masters in E-Business and E-Marketing from Newcastle University, which sounds ancient but is still relevant to my career! I worked for a Digital Marketing Agency, Podium, for the last nine years, where VH Bio was a (favourite) client of mine. I was delighted to join VH Bio as their Marketing Officer in June 2025.

Describe what your job entails.

I support the Sales and Marketing team with developing and implementing the marketing strategy for VH Bio, which includes social media, content marketing, website optimisation, email marketing, conference and event planning and more.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

I am enjoying being involved in the launch of our new website and am looking forward to the challenge of developing further marketing strategies that incorporate the company’s CRM system and email marketing integration.

It has been a nice change to go into the office after working from home since the pandemic, and absolutely lovely meeting the wider team and being warmly welcomed into the VH Bio family!
